Description
We are hiring Electric Motor System Technicians in Concord area.

  • Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble aircraft AC or DC motor or generator components (stators, armatures, PMGs, exciter rotors and stators, solenoids, transformers, etc)
  • Wind coils to shaft or metal core
  • Assemble, repair or replace electrical wiring and/or components including insulation and coils
  • Solder or braze electrical or electronic connections or components
  • Distinguish colours (not colour blind)
  • Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
  • Use electrical or electronic test devices or equipment
  • Use hand or power tools
  • Use precision measuring tools or equipment
  • Knowledge of metric and imperial system
- knowledge and experience of operating principles and the use of various industry standard precision measuring tools and equipment as well as hand and power tools.;
- knowledge and capability to perform electrical tests (Insulation Resistance, Resistance Test, Bar to Bar and Polarity);

  • Understanding of tolerances and interferences as they relate to electrical rotating equipment.
  • Follow process control procedures
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals, drawings, data or reports
  • Read and comprehend work order, instructions, formulas or processing charts
  • Record test results, test procedures or inspection data
  • Maintain production and/or work records
  • Ensure production schedules are meet, all work to be completed within allotted time
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures at all times
  • Fast pace environment, manual dexterity, hand & eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colours, combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Maintain ITAR compliance
  • Recognize safety hazard
  • Use hazardous disposal techniques
  • Use hazardous materials information
  • Other tasks as assigned

Education:
trade school certification/diploma or recognized by Canadian educational institution


Experience:
minimum two (2) years hands on as winder


Working conditions:
fast pace, attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand and eye coordination, distinguish colors, etc.


Personal suitability:
speak, read, write and communicate in English is essential, follow orders and instructions,

being able to work with others or individually with minimum supervision, team player
