Position Summary
As an important member of the Regional CISO office, the Project Coordinator I, organizes and tracks the progress of cyber security activities and initiatives being carried out in as part of the provincial cyber security operating model (CSOM)


The principal responsibilities include:

tracking progress of tasks, assessing quality of security services, monitoring budget spend, assisting in development of business cases and RFPs.

In addition, the role will also assist the Regional CISO in development of key reports and business presentations to various senior level stakeholders.


Duties

  • Carefully track cyber activities across over 15 different hospitals
  • Creating progress reports and presentations to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Documentation of cyber standards developed by Regional CISO and team
  • Interface with member hospital security leads and managed security provider to ensure work is progressing.
  • Assistance in creating metrics dashboards and capturing monthly scores
  • Accurate tracking of program budgets, invoices and purchase orders

Qualifications

  • Completion of a community college program in either Project Management, Business Administration, or Cyber Security or recognized equivalent
  • Experience utilizing other programs such as PowerPoint and Microsoft Project Experience working in hospital or public sector preferred
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks and fundamentals
  • Project Management or business analysis skills
  • Demonstrate abilities to work independently, collaboratively with consultants, vendors, contractors
  • Ability to track budget expenses
  • Process and organizational abilities
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving capacities.
