**Luxury Bathroom - Outside Sales Representative - Must reside in the Ontario area

This position requires driving a vehicle. You must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current valid Driver's license in their province of residence.

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The TOTO Direct Sales Representative Position is a Outside/Field Sales position.

The TOTO Sales Representative is responsible for all sales, servicing and support activities needed to ensure day-to-day responsibilities are managed properly in their territory.


COMPETENCIES:


  • Sources, evaluates, and initiates sales directly to residential and commercial plumbing contractors, builders, developers, mechanical contractors, municipalities and building maintenance personnel.
  • Showroom Visits; increase/gain TOTO Presence in existing showrooms and seek new showrooms.
  • Update Showroom Binders, New literature requests, showroom displays and Product Knowledge Sessions
  • Distributor/Wholesaler Visits; Know Key decision Makers.
  • Set monthly targets for distributors and achieve monthly targets.
  • Serves as a liaison between distributor/wholesaler/manufacturer representatives and contractors to pull sales through for shipment.
  • Follows up on orders to insure timely shipment.
  • Maintains close relationships with existing contractors to insure continued business as well as initiate increase business.
  • Establishes new relationships with contractors to gain sales and market penetration.
  • Investigate customer complaints of defective product and/or unsatisfactory service and recommend appropriate action necessary to resolve complaints.
  • Follows complaints to satisfactory conclusion between customer and company.
  • Seek out projects, such as Hospitality and Highend developments.
  • Initial Specification Sales; Architect, Engineers, Contractors and Designers.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain uptodate information concerning sales prices, availability of product, production schedules, profit contribution, sales policies, sales trends, and status of current orders to meet marketing objectives and assure the company satisfies customer requirements to greatest practical extent.
  • Incumbent reports any information as to a change in the financial status of customers.
  • Prepares necessary expense and sales reports on a timely (weekly) basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

DIMENSIONS:

Assist in market penetration of assigned metropolitan or major population center.


RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:

Daily contact with residential and commercial plumbing contractors, builders, developers, mechanical contractors, municipalities and building maintenance personnel. Frequent contact with Regional Sales Director, and Senior Director-North American Sales.


SPECIFICATIONS:

B.B.A. in Sales, Marketing, or related field plus one (1) year of industry sales experience. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must. Must also have excellent presentation skills. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.


SUPERVISORY:

This is a non-supervisory position.
