Description
The Crystal Glass Canada Ltd Commercial (Construction) Division is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Project Manager to join the team


Glazing Construction consists of:
Engineered or custom curtain wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors and hardware, skylights, architectural glass and handrail systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, correspondence, and other projects specific information
  • Change Management duties including estimates for extra work and Change Order logging/tracking
  • Write and track RFI's
  • Work from architectural drawings and specifications shop drawings or elevation takeoffs
  • Follow up on estimates and provide feedback concerning market pricing levels
  • Provide consultation, coordination, and assistance to our customers, sales force and internal personnel
  • Assist with phone coverage (if required)
  • Following and implementing Crystal Glass' Safety Policy and Procedures is paramount to this job.

Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:


  • Customer service mindset with effective communication skills (written and verbal), conduct themselves professionally;
  • All project management functions including planning/scheduling, creating takeoffs, PO issuance and change management
  • Ability to read, interpret, & understand architectural drawings and specifications and provide detailed takeoffs and estimates that incorporate different building envelope solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Architectural Hardware
  • PMP Certification
  • Mathematically sound
  • Negotiation abilities
  • Ability to create detailed sketches
  • Organized, selfstarter with the ability to handle numerous projects, phones, prioritize workload & work with mínimal supervision
  • Need to have good working knowledge of fabrication and installation in order to have good understanding of customer needs
