Here's the job opportunity
This is a 6 month contract opportunity and as a Compliance Associate you are responsible for the administration of compliance functions within the AML program and you will lead the Enhance Due Diligence (EDD) and on-going monitoring processes including the following:

  • Lead the EDD reporting and identification of policies where ongoing monitoring is required
  • Research client's information to identify high risk cases
  • Report on the tasks that are completed and document finding
  • Administer and research all EDD tasks and document findings by:
  • searching against all databases
- assisting in reporting and research.
- analyzing transactions and keeping KYC up to date

  • Assist in monthly OSFI Reporting and weekly Terrorist Searches
  • Assist with High Risk and PEP Reporting
  • Conduct adverse media review and screening
  • Assist and organize data collection for the AML Risk Assessment
  • Assist in uploading documents and organizing folders within Sharepoint

What we are looking for

  • 5 years experience in AML compliance with a deep understanding of AML requirements and industry practices
  • 2 years experience analyzing high risk data
  • Collaboration, communication, and policy/procedures writing skills
  • Extremely organized
  • High attention to detail
  • Relevant postsecondary degree
