Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Develop a detailed plan for each event, including timelines, budgets, and projections for patron count.
  • Coordinate and oversee the successful implementation of events and customer experiences, ensuring all aspects are executed flawlessly.
  • Attend events to gauge customer satisfaction, address any issues or concerns, and gather feedback for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with social media coordinator and assist with marketing efforts to create effective promotional strategies for events, utilizing various marketing channels, including social media, print materials, and partnerships.
  • Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and find costeffective solutions while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish customer service standards to ensure event/experience success: coordinate with leadership team to ensure consistent adherence to established customer service standards and guidelines across all customer touchpoints.
  • Understand the target audience: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the preferences, interests, and trends of our target demographic, comprising individuals aged 2540 years. Develop events and experiences that align with their tastes, lifestyle, and desire for memorable experiences in an upscale exotic nightclub setting.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all necessary resources and services are available for each event, and to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients, vendors, and staff members at all times.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, competitor events, and new event concepts to continuously innovate and enhance our offerings.

  • Professionalism: Represent the nightclub in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role, preferably in the entertainment industry.
  • Relevant certification such as Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Event Planner (CEP), or Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of event planning principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Salary:
$38,165.37-$81,956.98 per year


Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC V6Z 1L5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- event coordination: 5 years (preferred)


Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:
- certification such as CSEP, CMP, CEP, or CGMP (preferred)
