    The Institute for Sustainable Finance (ISF) is based at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. Its mission is to align mainstream financial markets with Canada's transition to a prosperous, sustainable economy.

    The Institute is Canada's first-ever cross-cutting and collaborative hub that brings together academia, the private sector, and government with the singular focus of increasing the country's sustainable finance capacity.

    It generates innovative and relevant research on sustainable finance and effectively communicates this research to stakeholders.

    Reporting to the Director of Research, the incumbent will work closely with the ISF Associate Director of Operations and Stakeholder Engagement, as well as Associate Director of Communications to align ISF's research projects with existing priorities.

    The Associate Director, Research will steer and supervise ISF's research progress on given topics.

    The incumbent serves as an advisor on research services, processes, and strategic initiatives relevant to enhancing ISF's reputation on a national and international level.

    The Associate Director, Research will develop and implement research strategies that maximize the value of research while prudently managing resources, including a team of Research Associates.

    This position will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders, collaborative efforts and monitoring the execution of goals within the ISF, as set by the senior leadership team.

    The incumbent can be based out of Toronto, Kingston, or Ottawa, with the ability to travel between as needed.
