We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst, Audit Technology Support with expertise in defects analysis to join our team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate, document, and analyze software defects or issues, working closely with development teams to ensure that defects are addressed efficiently and effectively.

The Business Analyst, Audit Technology Support will play a crucial role in improving software quality and enhancing the overall user experience.


As a Business Analyst, Audit Technology Support your responsibilities will include:


Defect Identification:


  • Collaborate with support and QA teams, developers, and product owners to identify and document software defects and issues
  • Verify and validate defects to ensure they are reproducible and welldocumented
  • Classify defects based on severity and impact on business processes

Defect Analysis:


  • Analyze defects to determine the root cause, potential impact on the system, and affected business processes
  • Use data analysis and problemsolving techniques to provide insights into defect patterns and trends
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand the context and implications of defects

Defect Prioritization:


  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize defects based on business impact, user experience, and technical considerations
  • Help create and maintain a defect backlog and prioritize items for resolution

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain detailed records of defects, including their descriptions, steps to reproduce, and any related artifacts
  • Generate and distribute defect reports and status updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with developers and QA teams to ensure understanding and timely resolution of defects

Testing and Validation:


  • Assist in retesting and regression testing of resolved defects to verify their successful resolution
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that test cases cover defect scenarios and related edge cases

Process Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities to improve the defect management process, streamline workflows, and enhance collaboration between teams
  • Implement best practices and standards for defect tracking and resolution

Stakeholder Communication:


  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate defect discussions
  • Address questions, concerns, and feedback related to defects and their impact on business operations

  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on defect analysis and management
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Proficiency in defect tracking and management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of software development and testing processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, crossfunctional team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus
