Job Summary


The Infrastructure and DevOps Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and security of our AWS cloud infrastructure.

This position involves
managing a team of Infrastructure and DevOps professionals and collaborating closely with software development and IT teams to optimize and automate our infrastructure deployment and operations processes.


Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and costeffectiveness.
  • Monitor and manage cloud resources, optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for security and compliance in the AWS environment.
  • Continuously improve processes and infrastructure technologies
Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure and DevOps engineers, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline the software development and deployment process.
  • Collaborate and support the Software Development teams with maturing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient software releases.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to support uptime SLAs and provide level3 customer support
Automation and Tooling

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Evaluate and implement DevOps tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Evaluate and Implement tooling solutions to drive operational efficiencies throughout the organization.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting

  • Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis.
  • Implement and manage oncall schedules to support implementation activities and ensure business continuity
Cost Management

  • Manage and optimize AWS costs through resource allocation, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce infrastructure expenses while maintaining performance and reliability.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

  • Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Foster knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
  • Ensure strategic team initiatives are tracked and timelines are visible across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of maintaining good data quality in our ticket tracking system.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure for software product development.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Handson experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Docker).
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
