About the Position

IEC-BC is partnered with the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) and Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) to develop and deploy the _Facilitating Access to Skilled Talent_ (FAST) program in English and French for newcomers to New Brunswick.

The FAST-NB initiative is based at the NBCC Moncton Campus.

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Project Coordinator to join the FAST-NB team.

This role will be responsible for the coordination and partner engagement of the FAST-NB initiative, as well as other aspects of the program delivery and maintenance, including client and partner tracking, relationship management and supporting program improvements.


FAST is a unique online competency assessment platform designed to provide immigrants to Canada with a suite of tools and resources to help them get started on their careers in Accounting, Biotechnology and Life Sciences, Information Communication Technology, Skilled Trades, Culinary Arts, and Seniors' Care.

The new expansion of the program, _FAST-NB_, focuses on supporting skilled immigrants with employment readiness and competency assessments in the skilled trades and IT.


Primary Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate overall project delivery and activities of FAST-NB
  • Coordinate project meetings with project partners of FAST-NB and manage project partner relationship, ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Provide project activity reports on a weekly/monthly basis (internally) and quarterly basis (externally), as required
  • Participate and facilitate project development and implementation meetings and/or committees, as needed

Engagement & Partner Management

  • Responsible for the outreach and engagement with community organizations and direct immigrantserving organizations to inform about the FAST-NB program offering
  • Deliver information sessions with interested organizations
  • Deliver onboarding and training sessions to participating organizations
  • Manage a network of FAST-NB program partners, with ongoing communication to ensure support is regularly available to partners and foster consistent client referrals
  • Support content creation and assist with the design of communications materials to promote the FAST-NB program
  • Support the Project Lead at NBCC to outreach to relevant employers to inform and engage them on the FAST-NB program

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

  • Provide timely and effective reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Provide support to advisory/working group members, as required
  • Other administrative duties including filing and data upload for program research and evaluation, as required
