Administrative / Accounting Assistant - Halifax, Canada - Halifax Chrysler
Description
Reporting to the Controller, the Administration / Accounting Assistant will be assigned a variety of accounting basics and provide a general support in all areas of administration as required daily.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accounts payable & accounts receivable assistance
- Maintain customer and vendor relations
- Prepare cheques/EFTs as required
- Perform various clerical duties including answering phones, filing, and data entry
- Other duties to assist the various departments as required
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of computerized accounting systems considered an asset
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
