    Accountabilities:

    • Support the Total Rewards – Pension and Benefit (TR – P&B) manager with the ongoing design, enhancement, and implementation of pension plans and benefits.
    • Act as an expert related to all employee benefits and retirmeent plans by providing answers to questions on plan provisions and resolve escalated issues
    • Support year end processes in collaboration with outside partners and payroll.
    • Liaise with third parties to troubleshoot issues and improve case resolution rates.
    • Support the analyzes of costs/savings in business decisions during collective bargaining agreement negotiations
    • Support the documentation library for all Benefits & Pensions processes, timelines, inventories, and participation trackers.
    • Ensure integrity of the databases with our various administrators and collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of the information (Payroll vendor, HR system, etc.)
    • Support communications for HR, management, and employees regarding compensation & benefit programs, leveraging email.
    • Assist Total Rewards Manager with project management, through effective organization, documentation, tracking progress, problem solving and troubleshooting, managing deadlines and prioritization of tasks.

    Required profile:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Actuarial Mathematics, or related area
    • Minimum 5 years prior experience in Pension & Benefits
    • Advanced analytical skills, ability to complete complex data analysis, support interface troubleshooting efforts
    • Knowledge of employee benefit programs and defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, as well of laws and regulations related to Canada
    • Fluent in French and English
