The Position:


We are seeking an experienced individual to be an integral part of our team as a Forklift Operator/Order Picker at one of our facilities located in Brampton, Ontario.

The duties include but are not limited to moving products and materials to designated locations, loading and unloading trucks, supporting inventory control with proper documentation and full adherence to safety regulations.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Operate the forklift, Counter Balance, Reach Truck and Walkie for moving material when required.
  • Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, and vehicles.
  • Stage pallets onto the shipping dock accordingly.
  • Remove all damaged freight and place them in the designated location.
  • Shrinkwrap skids safely and make sure it does not fall in the delivery process.
  • Support inventory control with accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Drive a forklift in a safe manner at all times.

Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:


  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1year experience as a forklift operator is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 lbs.

$18.00-$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

Forklift Operator: 1 year (preferred)

- forkilfting: 1 year (preferred)
