    Description

    Handyman Connection is seeking a Self Employed Carpenter to serve the Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge area with their skilled craftsmanship. Join a locally owned and well-established Home Improvement Company committed to delivering top-notch customer service and quality work since 1999.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Construct, install, and repair various wood, plywood, and wallboard structures and fixtures
    • Ability to identify correct materials and quantities for projects
    • Assess customer needs, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and communicate work order details

    Types of Projects You'll Work On:

    • Baseboard, Door Casing, Hang doors
    • Fences, Decks, and Gates
    • Wainscoting
    • Cabinet Repairs
    • Interior Wall Framing and Bulkheads
    • Wood and Engineer Flooring Installs and Repairs

    Requirements:

    • Valid Driver's License and willing to undergo a background check
    • Own tools, vehicle, and provide good references
    • Experience in remodeling or home repair field
    • Successful completion of screening process
    • Independent Contractors should have liability insurance and workers comp
    • Access to a smartphone and internet

    Project Managers or those focused on New Construction need not apply.
