**Contract Video Packaging Editor, Love Nature Global (6 month contract)

Would you consider yourself to be a "skilled and enthusiastic Video Editor?" And by that we mean:

a creator of multiple versions of the same thing with nothing but a minor tweak that may seem like no big deal to most people, but to , you know it's the difference between approval or having to start all over again.

You also know about frame rates; that "codec" is not an incorrectly spelled film company; and that PAL is more than just the person who sits in the cubicle next to you.

And speaking of pals, you fit in with the creative team equally as well as the operations group.

Oh, and it's for a wicked nature channel, based in Toronto, and you will work both at home and in our office because we've happily adopted a hybrid model for the time being.

What You'll Be Doing

Version onair promos for all territories (Canada, LATAM, EMEA and Asia)
Assemble compilation reels and video content for conference panels and sponsorships
Package promotional video content for OTT platforms
Output video deliverables in a variety of formats and frame rates
Collaborate with Media Services team and platform partners to solve technical video issues across all territories
Communicate daily with Video Production Supervisor on progress of projects
Other duties, as required

What You'll Bring

A Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a related field
35 years video or post production experience, preferably in the media industry
Intermediate experience in Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, Photoshop and Media Encoder
Knowledge of video and audio technical standards across various platforms (including, but not limited to: frame rates, video file formats, codecs, etc)
You are _
Organized with excellent attention to detail
A proven multitasker who manages time effectively to accommodate multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
A team player who thrives in collaborative working environments
Enthusiastic about the media industry and the creative possibilities of video production
