- Oversees and performs independent assessments to assist the audit committees of the parent company and subsidiaries to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization's systems of internal control and its ability to meet its objectives,
- Continuously re-assesses how changes to organisational structure and execution of corporate strategy affect the key TMX objectives, risks, and controls,
- Is responsible for planning and directing the work of Managers, Senior Internal Auditors & Internal Auditors
- Communicates regularly with all levels of management & senior management team on audit universe,
- Shapes direction & development for Internal Audit department by providing technical guidance
