The Opportunity


Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for providing professional, accurate and efficient completion of coordinating bi-weekly pay, recordkeeping and detailed reporting.

This position requires the individual to maintain confidential and sensitive information while delivering exceptional employee support service.

This position supports the overall HR function from a variety of perspectives including document control, projects and duties as assigned.

Full-Time permanent career working out of either our Edmonton location or Winnipeg Head Office.

What you will bring to the role

  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification or working towards is an asset.
2-4 years of Canadian payroll administration experience.

Prior payroll experience in Workday is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and Outlook

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectivity in both written and verbal.

Works well in a fast paced, employee support-focused environment.
