The Coordinator, Development Programs will work within our Development department which is responsible for fundraising initiatives across New Brunswick. The Coordinator, Development Programs will coordinate the Jump Rope for Heart program in Anglophone schools throughout the province.

In addition to the Jump Rope for Heart program, the coordinator will support the team with other provincial fundraising events.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting and coordinating schools for the Jump Rope for Heart Program in the Anglophone School Districts throughout New Brunswick and collaborate with the Francophone School Coordinator.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Recruiting teams and assisting at fundraising events such as golf tournaments, concerts and our signature event, Hockey Heroes Weekend.
  • Assisting the team to secure sponsorships.
  • Supporting our virtual Bingo Program through weekly production, card delivery, tracking and maintaining inventory.
  • Assist with additional development events to expand the Heart and Stroke Foundations of New Brunswick's fundraising capacity.***
    QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years experience in a related field.

Assets

  • Written and spoken competency in English.
  • Selfmotivated and committed to followthrough with mínimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a teamoriented environment.
  • Valid license and regular travel are required.
