    Description

    Job Purpose:

    Provides clerical support to Care Department and Administration.

    Qualifications:

    Have a certification from a recognized institution in Office Management and/or related experience and/or demonstrate ability to perform job functions.

    Ability to communicate effectively and attend work on a regular basis.

    Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (including but not limited to Excel and Word).

    Responsibilities:

    Prepares scheduling for the Nursing department.

    Replaces staff as required.

    Provides clerical/front office support such as fielding general inquiries, relaying messages, and general correspondence.

    Answering phone calls efficiently and courteously, and transfers, as necessary.

    Ensures delivery of faxes, mail, internal memos, and correspondence.

    Organize Resident charts.

    File and maintain resident records.

    Types letters and memos as requested.

    Orders stock and maintains inventory levels.

    Prepares various requisitions and forms.

    Assist with Purchasing, Payroll and Accounts Payable.

    Remuneration

    Will be based on education and experience.
