About This Opportunity
Accurate Fasteners Ltd. is seeking an experienced
Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in our
Cambridge location.

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all activities of the floor and overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving/shipping of items, and ensuring efficient, organized storage.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management:

  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with the data storage system.
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the allocation and proper use of equipment such as RF guns, pump trucks, and forklifts.

Employee Management:

  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Crosstrain employees in all warehouse functions and standards.
  • Oversee warehouse staff on a daytoday basis, assign daily priorities, ensure productivity, and perform quality checks.
  • Tracking employee vacations and overtime.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
  • Create, maintain and update documents and internal database records.
  • Maintain an understanding of customer shipping requirements and work with other floor department leads to ensure products are delivered to customers on time to avoid charge backs or other penalties, and to ensure we maintain our standing as a preferred supplier.

Other Duties:

  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure a wellcoordinated reception of all materials, items, and products, and making sure they are sorted, labelled, and stored per company standards and policies
  • Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.

Education Requirement and Preferred Skills:


  • At least 5 years of Warehouse experience in needed.
  • Warehouse inventory management experience and knowledge is required.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager will be great.
  • Ability to work on strategic and tactical levels with excellent problemsolving skills.
  • People management skills, including the ability to explain ideas, delegate work, motivate, and lead and inspire members of the team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced work environment
  • Ability to operate forklift effectively.
