Reporting Manager:
Director of Sales - Ontario


Location:
Wingham, Ontario


Position Summary:

The primary responsibilities include closing sales, lead generation, lead follow-up, and increasing Britespan market share. The Britespan Ontario division is a vertically integrated manufacturer that serves the Ontario market in the fabric tension-building space.

Our portfolio of projects includes a wide mix of municipal, private, and general building maintenance with commercial clients in Ontario.


Position Qualifications:

Education & Knowledge

  • A university degree or college diploma in business, marketing or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of construction asset
  • Knowledge of fabric buildings asset
  • Knowledge of the municipal planning process, appropriate building codes and requirements asset

Skills:


  • Proven background in B2B/B2C sales
  • Selfstarter with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent task and time management
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Proven organizational, negotiation, communication, sales and problemsolving skills
  • Able to operate all Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Experience
years sales experience (including direct sales)

  • Construction related experience asset
  • Experience in Fabric asset
  • Experience in preengineered and/or postframed buildings asset
  • Experience with CRM Systems required
Communication

  • Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to interact in a team environment with a team mindset

Responsibilities:


  • Close and execute sales contracts clearly stating terms of the agreement
  • Contacting existing customers and qualifying leads
  • Accountable for monitoring project quotes, identifying timelines and established budgets
  • Oversee and participate in contract negotiations as required with end users, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Able to read architectural building plans, schematics, and construction layouts
  • Keep meticulous records and meeting notes in CRM
  • Constantly communicate the status of all projects to team members
  • Understand and enforce contract documents
  • Attend project progress meetings as required
  • Liaise and maintain interaction with site personnel including site supers and customer project managers
  • Be coachable and adaptable
  • Execute an architecture & engineering sales strategy
  • Other duties as assigned by management
