The role

We are hiring in Toronto, Ontario (GTA).
A typical day

  • This role requires 24/7 oncall work (approx. 1 week per month) to help support critical operations and perform necessary upgrades/deployments
  • Provide triage, diagnosis, resolution, and root cause analysis during incidents and work on problems and service requests
  • Diagnose issues, analyze data and logs, and provide insight and recommendations to fix issues or enhance our systems and monitoring tools
  • Work with the developers to provide technical details and analysis for proposed solutions
  • Maintain content in our content management service
  • Create and maintain documentation and share knowledge with extended teams
Your skills/experience

  • Experience using monitoring and alerting software such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and AWS Cloudwatch
  • Knowledge of support, operations and incident management procedures through formal training or work experience
  • Understanding of Cloud platforms like AWS, it's tools and microservices architecture
  • Experience with CI/CD software such as Jenkins, BitBucket, and AWS as well as version control software such as Git
  • Experience with collaboration software such as Atlassian, for ticket maintenance (Jira) and documentation (Confluence)
  • Ability to work in rotation as part of an oncall team, with 24/7 access to company issued hardware + internet.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify, analyze, recommend and/or implement creative solutions for problems
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Passion for innovation and continual learning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in headless CMS is an asset
  • Experience with certificate management is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
