  • Then we have a Permanent Fulltime position open for a professional individual like yourself. We are looking for a Parts Counter Specialist_
  • The Parts Counter Specialist role is to ensure all required parts are ordered and received in respect to Capital Ford Lincoln standard operating procedure._
  • If you are hardworking, passionate, and determined, then Capital Ford Lincoln is for you The Parts Counter Specialist is responsible for the everyday process in making sure vehicles coming in are completed in a timely manner. This person should be effective at maintaining a relationship with suppliers and be meticulous about ordering accurate inventory._
  • The Job:_
- _ Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in and booked in for the shop_
- _ Work with and maintain relationships with vendors to locate and order parts_
- _ Order parts by phone, online and through body shop management system_
- _ Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule_
- _ Verify correct parts with mirror match_
- _ Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary_
- _ Coordinating with Technicians and estimator on the supplemental damage_
- _ Manage inventory, order parts, create purchase orders, and receipt invoices according to company standards and policy_
- _ Answers and directs incoming phone calls and inquiries promptly, thoroughly, courteously and accurately_
- _ Assists in keeping parts department and shop clean, orderly, and well stocked_
- _ Post parts and sublet invoices and maintain an accurate accounting record of the part_
- _ Keep work area clean and well organized_
- _ Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair_
- _ Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times_
- _ Other duties deemed necessary by management_

  • The Qualifications:_
- _ Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information_
- _ One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department_
- _ Ability to interpret vendor catalogs_
- _ Ability to use parts department computer system_
- _ Good communication skills_
- _ Hold a drivers license, with a clean driving record_
