About The Role:

We are looking for a Boutique Manager who will be the ultimate leader and brand ambassador within their community.

They will have an influential part for building and developing an exceptional team that consistently provides beautiful client experiences with a difference whilst ensuring that the boutique exceeds defined performance targets.

The Boutique Manager should be passionate about creating a client service-oriented environment and coaching and mentoring diverse leaders.


A day in the life of:

  • Represent Silk in the market, developing the client base through community involvement, partnerships with local high-profile people and businesses.
  • Drive the innovation journey of transferring Silk boutiques into Silk customer experience hubs.
  • Running social events and activating your customer base
  • Create an engaging and natural approach when building lasting customer relationships repeat visitors are at the heart of measuring our success.
  • Coach and always inspire boutique staff to deliver an elevated client experience.
  • Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging mutual respect and teamwork.
  • Hire, train, and develop store employee's productivity and performance.
  • The ability to drive sales and achieve KPI's.
  • Visual Merchandising
  • Be confident in styling and suggesting outfit options to all customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Stock management and store operations
  • Planning and Managing rosters

What you need to succeed:


  • Experience in a leadership position in retail, sales or service environments with clientele would be beneficial.
  • Luxury fashion retail experience advantageous
  • Commercial awareness of latest luxury fashion trends
  • A communication guru who can connect with all types of people.
  • Exposure implementing an Omnichannel customer experience.
  • Someone who is a positive and critical thinker, always looking to improve and expand on what we are doing.
  • An inspiring leader who has the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • A person who is able to adapt and influence others to do the same.
  • Creativity and innovation by testing, learning and taking new risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Energic and intrinsically motivated
  • Strong initiative and an eye for detail
