D U T I E S
Reporting to the Director, Information Technology Solutions (ITS), the Manager, Enterprise
Applications is a member of the IT leadership team under the portfolio of the Office of the Chief
Information Officer. The manager is responsible for the management and support of a team of
coach, mentor, develop, and lead the ITS analysts, developers, and specialists responsible for the
College's custom software solutions, business systems, system integrations, data and analytics
environments, and business analysis functions. They are responsible to ensure the appropriate
governance, oversight, planning, and execution of projects and operational work related to
Enterprise Applications, and ensuring that all work supports the College's Academic and
Administrative mandates. A strong communicator, seasoned leader, and experienced technician,
the manager is a trusted advisor of leaders across the College. They foster a team culture
focused on technology expertise and service excellence that ensures our partners and customers
are supported and the mandate of the College is advanced through technology.

  • R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
  • Diploma in Information Technology; A combination of education and experience may be

- considered
  • Several years of experience in a leadership role on an IT team including coaching and
managing members toward achievement of collective and individual goals, and providing
ongoing feedback

  • Several years of experience with departmental budgeting, preparing budgets, and using
financial systems to support budgeting and operations of a department

  • Experience in managing relationships with vendors, consultants, IT teams and internal
stakeholders

  • Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and
  • Demonstrated experience in coordination, organization, multitasking, timemanagement and
planning to organize resources, develop policies and procedures and manage priorities in a
fast-paced, constantly changing environment

  • Demonstrated analytical, criticalthinking, decisionmaking and issueresolution skills in
situations where problems may be technical, managerial, or interpersonal

  • Excellent initiative and research skills to identify trends in the use of current information
technology and the impacts on an organization's operating environment seeking opportunities
for continuous improvement

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate
effectively with staff and customers

  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and
continuous improvement

  • A S S E T S
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Change Management certification (Prosci or other)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Experience managing a team responsible for management of a enterprise ERP system
  • Experience managing in/developing using a Microsoft.
NET programming environment or other
