At Marigolds & Onions, we create and cater some of the most extravagant and exclusive events for our clients in Toronto and the surrounding GTA.

So whether it is a wedding, a corporate get together or smaller private parties with two to twenty people, we do it all, regardless of the number of people on the guest list.

For us, each event is a momentous experience, so we thrive to deliver nothing but the best which is simply Marigolds & Onions.

We are currently looking for a delivery driver with experience. Schedule will vary according to daily demand; can get scheduled anywhere from 5:00am to 5:00pm. There will be the occasional requirement for extended hours during the week and weekends.

Essential Functions:

Picking food and beverage items and assembling order accurately
Packing orders into the M&O delivery vehicles in an orderly manner
Delivering hot and cold foods, either on platters or in chafing dishes
Delivering beverages, which may include hot cambros (insulated carriers) or cases of water, soft drinks, juice, wine or beer.
Picking up of nondisposable platters/equipment used for client events

Qualifications:

Knowledge

Good working knowledge of the GTA and the surrounding area
General food knowledge

Skills/Aptitudes

Valid G driver's license, good driving skills and must provide a clean driver's abstract
Comprehensive understanding of the English language
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, clients and managers
Good organizational skills and attention to cleanliness
Detail oriented and able to multitask
Must be professional, courteous, neat appearance, adhere to uniform standards and be responsible

Working Conditions

Will be on the road for majority of shift, in all types of driving conditions
Will need to work in an efficient and fastpaced manner to stay on schedule
Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading food racks and insulated food boxes
Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on truck/vehicles.
Frequent lifting of 1517 lbs; occasional lifting up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.
