Position Description:

The Manager, IT Project Delivery will direct the analysis of enterprise-wide and/or complex client (internal or external) needs in the area of business process improvement technology enablement.

The position will also oversee the IT Project Delivery team for the development and implementation of new or enhanced systems for Sunrise Farms and its subsidiaries.

A solid knowledge of managing entire project portfolios including budget management, escalation management and periodic reporting is a must.

Responsibilities:

Provide senior leadership and oversight to the IT Project Delivery Team which may be comprised of internal and external program and project team members and stakeholders.
Responsible for management of project managers / business analysts, ranging from entry level to experienced.
Facilitates and participates with business partners in the identification of new and existing business processes and strategies to improve efficiencies.
Assesses scope and impact of client business needs and manages client expectations.
Understands the internal client departments by becoming knowledgeable of their business processes and data.
Coordinates the development of comprehensive business cases with cost and benefit analysis for proposed IT projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scoping decisions.
Participates in crossfunctional teams to identify and document business requirements, workflow, and information sources.
Participates with Sunrise Farms' Data Governance Program as needed.
Assists in establishing service level agreements.
Performs market research on emerging and available technology products.
Works with Project Delivery team members and user departments to create RFPs and RFIs related to business initiatives.
May perform the role of Project Manager on approved initiatives as time permits.
Meets regularly with the Project Business Owners to review project progress and escalate as needed.
Meets regularly with the Project Manager Group to identify opportunities for enhancements.
Participate in the growth of Information Technology and the development of standards and methodologies.

Requirements:

Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation is an asset.
Experience managing large technology project portfolios or programs focusing on scope, budgets, and timelines.
Experience managing large, complex ERP / Supply Chain, Logistics, 3PL projects with multiple client groups and vendors.
General understanding of External Audit requirements is an asset.
Must have proven track record managing projects per Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodology
Must have solid understanding of foundations and principles of Data Governance.
Experience in the food manufacturing, supply chain, 3PL or logistics industry and/or exposure to IoT and data driven projects is an asset.
Ability to communicate timely, clearly and concisely.
People management experience is an asset and required within this role.
Desire and ability to engage and build a team environment.
Organizational and time management required to manage complex processes
Ability to work evenings and weekends on an as needed basis.
