Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Team Member to join our growing restaurant team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and thrives in a team-oriented setting. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in the food industry while contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety practices are an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate who brings the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food items according to company recipes and quality standards
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders and answering questions
- Operate POS systems (such as Micros POS) for order entry and payment processing
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining and kitchen areas
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Promote and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
- Support fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards
- Experience with POS systems is an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
