Job summary
We are looking for a Receiving Associate to join our team at The Home Depot. As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for unloading merchandise from carriers, checking the quantity and quality of merchandise, and entering information into our stores system using provided tools. You must be licensed to use powered lift equipment such as electric pallet jack, reach truck, order puller, and forklift. A successful Receiving Associate must have a high level of work commitment, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and follow procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding carrier unload processes for efficient freight management.
- Strictly follow receiving standards that are set in place.
- Cleaning and maintaining receiving area (e.g. removing pallets and cardboard boxes from the floor, using compactor and bailer).
