Applications are invited for the position of Manager, Recruitment Production and Activations in the Marketing and Student Recruitment Division, located at the Daniel J.

Patterson Campus OR Welland Campus. The salary range is $69,600 to $87,001 for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.


The incumbent is required to work closely with the academic schools and service areas at the Welland and Niagara on the Lake Campuses, to coordinate recruitment support requests and ensures their objectives are clarified and best practices are followed.

Through planning and coordinating large scale targeted recruitment and conversion campaigns the Manager will support three intakes for Niagara College programs.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads planning of recruitment plans through multiple mediums including virtual sessions, recruitment fairs and partnerships to reach future students and accomplish recruitment targets.
  • Overseeing and coordinating budget for the recruitment departments promotional incentives for the calendar year.
  • The incumbent provides comprehensive mentorship to student staff, seasonal staff, parttime staff, and fulltime staff on recruitment operational processes, Salesforce inventory business practices and event evaluations and event attendance reporting planning strategies and facilitating skill development initiatives.
  • Through direction to other recruitment production and activation staff, the incumbent ensures that the centralized Recruitment Calendar in Outlook is up to date and all activities in the recruitment events objects are in the Customer Relationship Management System.
  • Ability to understand target markets and develop promotion plans for products and services.
  • Leads analysis of data from multiple sources, including a Customer Relationship Management system, to conduct analysis and provide recommendations to departmental senior leadership.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum (3) threeyear diploma and/or undergraduate degree in Business, Social Sciences, Sciences, Humanities, Communications, Operations, or a similar field of study. (Niagara College Credential an asset)
  • 35 years' experience in student recruitment, student engagement business operations or similar field
  • Understanding of Post-Secondary more specifically Ontario College programs and services
  • Understanding of customers' purchase decisionmaking process and being able to adapt strategies to the field of student recruitment.
  • Experience working with external vendors to coordinate purchasing and deliver of large quantity of promotional material.
  • Operational/administrative experience coordinating busy office environment.
  • Experience and functional knowledge with Client Relationship Management Systems, more specifically Salesforce.
