Responsibilities Include: Remove replace or adjust brakes fifth wheel minor electrical repairs cab components accessories minor trailer maintenance Pick up delivery of vehicles Maintain work area appearance safety Use hand power tools Perform routine maintenance Adjust replace brakes tighten bolts screws reassemble equipment Raise trucks buses heavy parts equipment Other duties tasks assigned by supervisor Qualifications 1-2 year's practical experience vehicle repair truck repair preferred High school diploma equivalent required Vocational Technical certification preferred Must be currently enrolled apprentice program Must maintain membership registration respective Government Agencies Working knowledge use hand tools required Current driver's license class G class 5 ability obtain class DZ within months hired required Basic computer skills data entry into maintenance systems Ability work non-climate controlled conditions Regular predictable full attendance essential function job Willingness travel necessary within district customers yards close geographical area training sites complete Penske employment application submit reference check Physical Requirements The physical demands described here representative must met associate successfully perform essential functions this job Reasonable accommodations may made individuals disabilities perform essential functions The associate regularly lift move up kg frequently lift move up kg occasionally lift move up kg Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision Distance vision Peripheral depth perception Ability adjust focus While performing duties Job the associate regularly require stand walk sit talk hear The associate frequently require use hands finger handle feel reach hands arms
