ID Love Lounge, a sister establishment to the popular ID Love restaurant in Toronto, is a vibrant and sophisticated dine-in venue that offers a delightful dining experience, delectable cocktails, and engaging entertainment.

Our Nigerian based Afro-Fusion menu includes lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, catering to a diverse clientele in a welcoming atmosphere.

Our focus is on creating a unique and memorable experience for our guests, accompanied by impeccable service.


We are currently seeking skilled and passionate Line Cooks as well as to join our culinary team at ID Love Lounge.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for:_
  • Preparing ingredients and mise en place for service.
  • Cooking and plating dishes according to the established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assisting in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking stations.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure efficient and consistent food production
  • Adhering to established kitchen workflows and procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with the culinary team and frontofhouse staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • The Line Cook's performance will be evaluated based on the following KPIs:_
  • Consistency and quality of dishes prepared and plated.
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Efficiency and effectiveness of kitchen operations and workflows.
  • Collaboration and communication within the culinary team and with frontofhouse staff.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a culinary role, preferably within a highvolume restaurant or lounge setting.
  • A strong background in food and beverage operations, with a deep understanding of current industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving abilities.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, with a focus on quality and consistency.

How to Apply

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
