Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and service propane systems according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on propane equipment and gas systems including vaporizers.
• Measure, cut, thread and assemble pipe using required tools for the installation of gas systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with propane systems to identify and resolve problems promptly.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule installations, maintenance visits, and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete necessary documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and safety or service records.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to address inquiries, concerns, and requests effectively.

Requirements:

• Valid Gasfitter
• Class A license issued by AIT.
• Proven experience working as a Gasfitter in the propane industry, with a strong understanding of propane systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of relevant current codes, regulations, and safety standards governing propane installations and operations.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract. _If the applicant has an air brake designation that is considered an asset._
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality and safety standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Holding the following certifications would be considered an asset: CSTS 2020, WHMIS, First Aid, AWP, Industrial Fall Protection & H2S Alive.

Pay:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
