Insurity's Next Quality Analyst

Insurity is looking for a Quality Analyst who will play a key role in advancing quality across our Bureau, Underwriting & Issuance product areas. This hybrid QA/BA role requires ensuring product quality while understanding business workflows, analyzing requirements, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, curious, and excited about leveraging AI tools to streamline day‑to‑day work.

What Our Quality Analyst Will Do

• Plan, design, and execute test plans for complex business solutions, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and compliance across multiple platforms.
• Evaluate business, functional, and non‑functional requirements, analyze gaps, and ensure clarity and testability.
• Analyze and report test execution results, create detailed documentation, and champion the use of AI tools to enhance productivity.

Who We're Looking For

• Analytical skills with a QA mindset or strong BA capabilities and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• 2+ years of QA experience, including 1 year in the insurance industry.
• Quick learner.
• Skills required: backend testing (REST/SOAP), SQL, UI automation familiarity, requirement documentation expertise, and ability to leverage AI tools.
• Travel required: 0–10%.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL.

Compensation

Salary range: $50,000 to $75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Language Requirements

English is required for this position. French language proficiency is required for positions permanently located in Quebec; non‑French speakers may receive French-language training.
