Position Overview:
Edmonton Bouncy Castle is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Drivers/Labourers for our seasonal operation.

This position involves operating various types of trucks, delivering equipment, setting up and tearing down at event locations, and providing exceptional customer service.

The role is initially seasonal, spanning 2-3 months with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.


Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate assigned vehicles, including a pickup truck with a trailer up to 22 ft long, a 3ton 16 ft box truck, or a 26 ft 5ton single axle box truck.
• Read and comprehend delivery schedules, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of equipment to designated locations.
• Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery times, address any concerns, and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Load and unload equipment onto/from trucks safely and efficiently at the start and end of shifts.
• Set up and tear down bouncy castles and related equipment at event locations, adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the trucks and at event sites.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to fluently read, write, and communicate in English.
• Capability to lift and carry items up to 100 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and the ability to use mapping tools effectively to locate addresses.
• Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules, equipment setup, and teardown efficiently.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle laborintensive tasks throughout the workday.
• Previous experience in driving 3ton and 5ton trucks is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and accommodate varying work hours.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Compensation:

Hourly wage:
$22-24, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Seasonal employment:
Initial 2-3 months, with the possibility of permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
