    Description

    How You'll Perform the Role

    The Customer Service is the conduit of information from the customer to the production floor to shipping. The position's function is to ensure this information is communicated accurately and timely to meet the needs of the customer.

  • Responsible for order management process for assigned customer accounts, including proactively solving issues, and clear/routine customer correspondence via email and/or phone.
  • Understand and execute all steps of order fulfillment process, as well as understand various product lines and types of customers.
  • Answer emails and phone calls regarding job status, pricing and questions on orders, researching answers when needed.
  • Partner with internal teams, including: Sales, Inventory Management, Accounting, Graphics, Shipping, Quality, and other Manufacturing personnel.
  • Maintain customer files, as well as relevant forms, reports, and forecasts as required.
  • What We Need From You

  • Bilingual in French and English is a must
  • Prior successful customer service experience in multi-process manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, and ability to learn other tools as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and re-connecting with other team members when appropriate.
  • Works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way and can adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Good basic understanding of direct manufacturing processes
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple customers with many details.
  • Proficient with ERP systems - BAAN is an asset
