Job Description:

Love managing and validating price and product data? Do you like to make a difference with your initiatives and your autonomy? Join our team as a Data Integrity Specialist

The role of the incumbent is to validate any changes in the price/product files within the various databases.

He/she must ensure that these changes respect the parameters and the structure defined at the price/product level and can be processed and communicated in the network (DC and store) without problems.


This person must understand the functioning of our distribution network, to understand all the links between the different departments concerned and have a global vision of the impact of changes and modifications in the price/product chain and their impact on customer systems.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the updating of computer files in the UAP management system;
  • Process supplier price changes and validate margin structures using variation reports;
  • Manage the processing of product modifications received from suppliers (changes of numbers, substitutions, etc.);
  • Supervise the creation of new lines, families, and new products;
  • Ensure that any changes are routed to the appropriate people in the network;
  • Handle special requests from product managers regarding product inventory data;
  • Produce reports for management.

Qualifications:


  • College or University degree in administration, procurement, or other related training.
  • Bilingual English and French, oral and written
  • Minimum experience of three to five years in a similar position and in a multisystem environment.
  • Very good computer skills (Excel/Access/Cognos).
