Description
We are looking for a pharmacy assistant to start immediately. We are a community pharmacy located in Abbotsford.As an important part of our pharmacy team your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
- Data entry of prescriptions and relevant patient information, ensuring required documentation is complete
- Preparation of blister packaging
- Answering phone calls
- Ordering and receiving of pharmacy orders, inventory control
- Assist pharmacist in prioritizing workload
- Working well with coworkers in a team environment
- Class 5 License preferred
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience strongly preferred
- Ability to speak Punjabi strongly preferred
