About our company:
Our Company is currently recruiting for the position of Project and Maintenance Manager.
Currently in a significant growth phase, particularly in its Canada and Australia operations, the Company requires a Project and Maintenance Manager based out of our Vancouver Office or Harrison Hot Springs Resort Office depending on the applicant's geographical location.
Reporting to the Project Director / President, as the Project & Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a team that collaborates to drive creative solutions for our clients and internal/external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project lifecycle from start to finish including relations profitability and schedule adherence
- Work closely with the site team to develop the project plan, engineering methods and monitor the project schedule
- Understand and enforce prime contract and subcontract responsibilities
- Negotiate and issue subcontracts, major purchase orders and monitor their progress and schedule
- Process all change orders, including negotiating and assessing cost and schedule impact
- Manage all facets of project closeout, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work
- Regular travel required using personal vehicle
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience working on hotels, resorts, residential, commercial, institutional and/or projects with a spend of at least $15 Million
- University or college diploma in a relevant construction/engineering program
- Excellent computer skills including experience using MS Office, Scheduling & PM software with Procore considered an asset
- Experience in all forms of contracts and delivery methods
- Sound knowledge in the review and negotiation of contracts for construction projects
- Strong technical, business, financial and legal acumen
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentations), including the ability to successfully translate technical information to nontechnical individuals
- Mandarin speaking and writing required.
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability problem solve
Salary:
$65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- Driving Licence (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
