    Overview

    Fed is a food and nutrition startup based in Vancouver, focused on delivering personalized, dietitian-designed, chef-prepared meals. We are looking for an ambitious, creative, and analytical Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and growth efforts as we continue to scale.

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys blending strategy, creativity, and execution. You will oversee both digital and traditional marketing initiatives, track and report on marketing performance, and play a key role in shaping Fed's brand voice and visual direction. More than anything, we're looking for a creative thinker with a strong eye for content, storytelling, and art direction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention
    • Own marketing performance tracking, including campaign ROI, CAC, and channel-level reporting
    • Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaigns to improve performance and efficiency

    Digital Marketing

    • Oversee paid digital advertising efforts across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
    • Manage campaign planning, creative direction, targeting, and performance optimization
    • Collaborate with internal teams or external partners on ad creative and landing pages

    Content & Brand Marketing

    • Lead content marketing efforts across social media, email, blog, website, and partnerships
    • Guide art direction and creative execution to ensure brand consistency and high-quality visuals
    • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and videographers to produce compelling assets

    Traditional & Local Marketing

    • Oversee traditional marketing initiatives such as print, events, community partnerships, and in-person activations
    • Identify creative, grassroots opportunities to grow Fed's presence locally

    Public Relations & Communications

    • Coordinate PR efforts, including media outreach, press opportunities, and brand collaborations
    • Support product launches, announcements, and brand storytelling initiatives

    Partnerships & Collaborations

    • Build and manage strategic partnerships with gyms, clinics, dietitians, influencers, and other aligned brands
    • Identify co-marketing and affiliate opportunities that support growth and brand credibility

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with leadership, operations, product, and customer experience teams to align messaging and campaigns
    • Support launches of new products, features, and initiatives (e.g. new meal streams or app updates)

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
    • Master's degree is considered an asset
    • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a small or medium-sized business or startup environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven experience with digital marketing and performance-driven campaigns
    • Familiarity with new media, content platforms, and evolving marketing trends
    • Strong creative instincts, with an affinity for content creation, visual storytelling, and brand development
    • Analytical mindset with experience measuring and reporting on marketing performance
    • Comfortable with technology and marketing tools (ad platforms, analytics, CMS, email platforms, etc.)
    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Passionate, empathetic, and approachable—someone who enjoys working collaboratively
