We currently have an exciting opportunity for a MBA Admin Resident.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Clinical Services leadership on establishing internal capabilities and support projects and initiatives, with opportunities to learn and grow that contribute to fulfillment of your degree requirements.

The Resident will work closely with the applicable Clinical Executive Vice-President, Vice President and Directors.

This position will be on-site. The staff person will have access to all COVID-19 precautions and Occupational Health & Safety Standards.


Responsibilities and Key Projects:

  • Attend and provide support for meetings onsite and offsite with members of the Clinical Services leadership team.
  • Assist in the operational project management and planning of key projects driven by the Clinical Services teams

These projects may include:
o Planning and implementation of an Ambulatory Care Strategy

o Exploration of redevelopment opportunities to advance clinical services at our Reactivation Care Centre

o Clinical services quality improvement projects/initiatives

  • Developing program proposals to senior leadership
  • Execute project plans and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage scope, deliverables, and other project matters

Requirements:


  • Preferred incumbent will be enrolled in a recognized Master's program at an accredited university that requires a work placement through a practicum or credit course; there is no implication that the residency will lead to a fulltime placement
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • A performancefocused, resultsoriented approach with a strong work ethic and determination to achieve success
  • Strong ownership mentality with exceptional selfmotivation, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and motivational skills
  • Solid analytical capabilities and structured thinking


Please be advised that in order to be eligible for employment at Humber River Health, all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the hired employee's first date of employment.
