Your contribution:


  • Reporting to the President/General Manager/ and work with the Sales Managers/Reps & Service advisor/s, act as the fixed ops/service/parts/detail representative for customers and vendors and work with dealership management on delivering service promotions and campaigns and build the overall fixed ops business.
  • Making sure that all deliverables (both internal and retail work orders) are being achieved in an efficient and effective way.
  • Responsible for warranty estimates & processing claims
  • Work with the management in establishing KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) and fiscal targets both for the fixed ops department and individual service staff.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships making sure that any external issues are being addressed in a timely manner.
  • Answering calls from the customers, building repair orders in the DMS (Dealership Management System) and creating campaigns in the CRM (Client Relations Management) System.
  • Human Resources management in the fixed ops department (service/parts/detail)
  • Scheduling and planning work with the mechanics.
  • Supporting and sustaining a strong onsite parts inventory.
  • Determining parts needed by mechanics to generate estimates.
  • Additional duties assigned by the management.

What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:

  • 2+ years of experience in the same role or similar such as a lead service writer, in a fast-paced industry.
  • Excellent computer literacy is critical. Knowledge in using DMS solutions (eg. PBS) & CRM solutions (eg. Dealersocket) is desirable.
  • Preferably a journeyman mechanic who wants to change from working in the bench to working with people. Must have people skills.
  • Demonstrated managerial ability, Organization skills and willingness to follow set procedures & guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent time management skills and ability to work with pressing deadlines
  • Responsible individual with a valid BC Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Diploma, certificate or equivalent experience in automotive service and repair industry is preferred but not required.
