we are looking for an experienced email deliverability and DNS expert to help us resolve two technical issues affecting our online business.
Please read carefully we are looking for someone who can analyze root causes and propose a structured solution (not just guesswork).
The engagement should include:
Initial Technical Audit
- Full DNS review (A, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, CNAME)
- Email sending path analysis (server vs. third-party tool)
- SPF/DKIM/DMARC validation and alignment check
- IP reputation check (major reputation databases + Microsoft-specific)
- Domain reputation analysis
- Website security header and SSL check (basic review)
- Clear written explanation of the underlying issue(s)
Identification of whether the problem is:
- IP-based
- Domain-based
- DNS misconfiguration
- Third-party tool misalignment
- False positive security reputation
Action Plan
- Step-by-step recommended solution
- Clear prioritization of measures
If applicable:
Delisting guidance (e.g., Microsoft)
Recommendation whether to:
- Keep current infrastructure
- Migrate to a professional email provider
- Separate transactional and marketing email fully
- DNS adjustments
- Authentication reconfiguration
- Delisting request submission
- Reputation cleanup process
- Written technical summary (PDF or structured document)
- Clear list of changes implemented or recommended
- Optional short Loom/video explanation (preferred)
Emails sent from our domain to Microsoft mailboxes (Hotmail, Outlook, Live) are being rejected with a error indicating that the sending IP or part of its network is on Microsoft's block list.
Important context:
- Emails may currently be sent via our hosting server
- We recently made DNS changes due to integration of a third-party affiliate/email tool
- Sender domain configurations were adjusted
We need a full technical audit covering:
- Are emails being sent via the correct infrastructure?
- Full SPF, DKIM, and DMARC validation and alignment check
- Check whether recent DNS changes affected authentication
- IP reputation analysis
- Microsoft block list investigation
- Guidance and support for delisting process
Strategic recommendation:
continue with server-based sending or migrate to dedicated email infrastructure
Security Software False Positive (Website Reputation Issue)
Our website is currently flagged by a major antivirus web protection system as potentially unsafe.
However:
- No malware or phishing detected via multi-database blacklist scans
- SSL is active
- No obvious security breach
We need:
- DNS record audit (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)
- IP and domain reputation analysis
- Check whether recent DNS changes could have triggered temporary reputation degradation
- Identification of the root cause
- Clear step-by-step solution plan to restore clean reputation
- Structured technical analysis (not trial-and-error)
- Clear explanation of root cause
- Concrete implementation steps
- If possible, support in executing the fixes
