Location: 701 W Georgia St, Vancouver BC


Wage:
$18.28/hour


Shift:
Part Time

Saturday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

Sunday - 9:00am to 5:30pm

About the Role:


We're looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space at one of our newest sites This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.


What you'll be doing:


  • Disinfecting all high touch point areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
  • Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
  • Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
  • Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass
  • Scrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry
  • Additional tasks assigned by Manager

You have:


  • Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
  • Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
  • Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
  • Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
  • Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check
