The TELUS CTE Finance team is a dedicated and collaborative team that delivers exceptional financial reporting, planning, and analysis to senior leaders and key stakeholders.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
You will be a trusted Finance Business Partner to several key TELUS stakeholders groups.

You will be a fundamental contributor to our overall Consolidated CTE reporting as well as assisting with direct business unit support.

You will translate financial data into value added reporting and high level stories that ultimately help drive decision making. Using your fresh eyes and creative approach, you will help to simplify and improve our processes. Here's how

Assist with the consolidated reporting for the whole CTE team including Budget, Triage, Strat Check and monthly results
Assist in preparing presentation materials for VP/SVP level presentations
Act as a Finance Prime for an assigned business unit with the support of a controller
Prepare accounting entries, monthly reporting, and perform related variance analysis
Prepare account reconciliations for CTE level balance sheet accounts
Assist the controller with Ad-Hoc tasks and requirements
Identify, develop and implement process improvements through simplification and automation, to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
Assist with the preparation of information to address corporate asks

Experience with monthend close work, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and controls monitoring & remediation
Business Finance or Accounting related degree and Accounting Designation (CPA) or working towards one
Working knowledge of SAP
Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office, with a strong knowledge of Excel and GSuite
