- **JOB SUMMARY**The
Packaging Supervisor has the responsibility for leading, managing, and coaching their production staff with the goal to achieve quality product produced with highest production efficiency attainable while maintaining a safe working environment for their team. This position reports directly to the Production Manager.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing, coaching, training and leading production employees
  • Cultivating a work environment of positive and safe problem solving
  • Work to minimize downtime and delays within the production process while also:
  • Ensure compliance to all company polices and standards with regards to health, safety, environment
  • Ensure compliance to all company quality standards, hold procedures, housekeeping, GMP, KPI reporting, correction action processes and continuous improvement.
  • Optimizing capacity, flexibility and productivity
  • Manage, monitor and communicate production performance results
  • Work closely with Brewing and Logistics to ensure maximum efficiency of production across entire supply chain
  • Work closely with peers to set agreed to standards and consistency across all shifts.
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures of line equipment and processes.
  • Audit all production worksheets, check sheets, changeovers for standard practices and coach nonconforming work.

QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum 35 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in sciences preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
  • Must have good communication skills in English written and verbal.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, leadership qualities, and team building skills.
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, HACCP, GMP's, and SOP's.
  • Must have strong computer skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work shifting schedules (day/evening/night), weekends and holidays.
