We are looking for a Full-time Permanent Maintenance Manager at the Radisson Hotel, Sudbury.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager is to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that the property and facilities are maintained at high standard to the satisfaction of customers, guests and the Radisson Brand.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the maintenance department including:
Schedule, assign, perform & follow-up duties to upkeep the guest rooms and the property in general that includes electrical, plumbing, dry wall, wall paper and preventive maintenance work
Effective provisioning and controlling of supplies
Inspect building and equipment for needed repair and maintenance work
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required; trouble shoot issues to determine cause and solution
Enforce company standards, maintain and improve the assets of the property
Implement & maintain Brand standards, Service levels and eliminate complaints
Record keeping as required by brand standards and the company
As a Maintenance Manager you are in charge of all aspects of the Maintenance department which include labor cost, budgets, inventories, and discipline in the department.
Good coordination with vendors/suppliers/contractors to get the contracted jobs done in time and good quality.
Coordination with other departments

Minimum Requirements:

5+ yrs of facilities / property management experience
Experience working with plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, drywall, wallpapers and other aspects of building maintenance
Capable "handson" manager ready to assist with maintenance work as needed
Experience in maintaining swimming pool (water chemistry, back end machinery etc) will be an asset
Experience working with vendors and contractors
Ability to multitask
Excellent timemanagement, organizational and communication skills
Available for some weekend and evening work as required

Salary:
$55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
