Course Description:


This course will provide incoming Master of Global Affairs (MGA) and Master of Public Policy (MPP) students an introduction to basic statistics and economics concepts.

Students will access the course remotely.

Sessional Dates of Appointment:
May 1, 2024- September 9, 2024. Final Assessment period (September 3-6)


Please note:
This position includes the completion of any course work and marking not finished by September 9, 2024.


Salary:
$52.26 plus 4% vacation pay

Minimum Qualifications:
A graduate degree in Global Affairs or Public Policy.


Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience acting as a Teaching Assistant for GLA1001H or GLA1010H is preferred.


Description of duties:
Developing the course online including lecture videos and tutorials. Creating quizzes and monitoring results. Answering student questions and concerns. Running two 2-hour tutorials in the week before the diagnostic test. Writing and grading the diagnostic test which is to take place on September 3, 2024.
