    Sierra Supply Chain ServicesIs on the search for Three (3)Line Leadersat ourBramptonfood processingfacility @ 275 Walker Drive

    Full-time + Vacation & Benefits.
    5Days per week (Saturday off) (Rotating Sunday H/ Week + OT.
    BI- Weekly Rotation Day Shift (6 am to 3 pm) Afternoon shift : 3 pm to 12
    $21-22/H
    Location: Brampton

    Line Management

    • Oversee line throughput. This includes setting up the production line being responsible forproduction velocity, minimizing downtime, and tracking and recording production information
    • Provide direction to the line workers. This includes monitoringlabour and break times and assigning line positions
    • Ensure production results and targets are being met or exceeded
    • Able to communicate production needs clearly to production workersand liaise with production supervisors/managers
    • Assist in the development of production reports
    • Efficiency improvement ( overtime Reduction)
    • Waste reduction.
    Food Safety & Quality Service
    • Contribute and be involved in following GoodManufacturing Practices, Sanitation and Safety Standards
    • Oversee employee compliance to GMP and HACCP policies and implement measures when deviations are noted
    • Ensures all company guidelines, GMP's, food safety policies are followed and implemented as assigned
    • Oversee product quality standards are met and product cases/pallets are scanned into the system
    Leadership & Training
    • Train operators on production line equipment and processing methods, development of employees
    • Ensure all internal processes and practices are adhered to by line workers. This includes health and safety, GMPs and HACCP
    • Directing workers and coaching the team with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Employee recognition
    • Timely Line production Fullfillment
    • Monitor the production line(s) to ensure that production goals/tasks are being fulfilled in a timely manner (adhering to time constraints)
    • Ensure that product is of the highest quality prior to being packaged/prepared for shipping/delivery
    • Team Performance
    • Monitor the performance of the production workers; support them in areas of improvement and growth
    • Ensure production workers feel supported and motivated to accomplish production goals efficiently
    • Recognize members of the team who may require further support or training opportunity
    • Surpass the set targets, keep goals clear and focused. Encourage team building.
    Competencies: Service & Support Soft Skills: Developed Communication (written & verbal), problem-solving, adaptability, time management, Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Numerical Literacy & Mathematical Abilities, Customer relations & client engagement
    Technical Skills: Product/Service knowledge, technology proficiency pertaining to function, Basic Functional Knowledge.

    Minimum Requirements:Education and/or Professional Designation:
    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of experience and education. Food Science or equivalent degree preferred
    Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a food production environment
    • Leading people experience considered an asset
    • Meat production/processing environment is an asset
