Are you a strategic and forward-thinking IT leader? Do you have demonstrated experience leading I&IT projects and solutions? The Drugs & Assistive Devices I&IT Solutions Branch and Payment & Registration I&IT Solutions Branch within the Ministry of Health (MOH) is seeking two collaborative leaders to join their teams as Manager, Business Solutions.

Payment & Registration I&IT Solutions Branch is responsible for:

  • Managing receipt, processing and adjudication of payments for Fee For Service (FFS) physicians, Primary Health Care programs and reciprocal medical and hospital billing.
  • Maintaining the Registered Persons Database (RPDB) and Corporate Provider Database (CPDB) which are the ministry's authoritative registries for OHIP eligibility for Ontarians (14M+) and health care provider registration (37K+) respectively.
  • Enabling ServiceOntario's delivery on behalf of OHIP and supporting subscriber specific eligibility programs such as Northern Health Travel Grant, subrogation for OHIP insured services, prior approval for outofcountry medical services and inprovince surgical services.
  • The section also supports the Ontario Laboratory Information Systems, Electronic Master Persons Index, Cancer Care Ontario, Diabetes Registry, and the Organ Donor Registry programs

The Drugs & Assistive Devices I+IT Solutions Branch, you will
- build, manage and sustain efficient processes, current and emerging technologies and rich data to enable present and future government business models.
- lead and manage a team through coaching, promoting innovation and building diversity within the team.
- direct project planning for all phases of many concurrent large-scale projects including developing and managing project budgets, directing teams of project staff and developing performance measures for evaluation.
- oversee technical discussions and stakeholder consultations with senior managers.
- direct the development, evaluation, and approval of systems and programs.
- develop and manage relationships with ministry clients, stakeholders, suppliers, partners and other clusters/ministries.
- provide technical advice and direction to project teams and informed recommendations and decisions to senior management.
- carry out management functions including, recruitment, performance management, resource management, and learning and staff development.
- demonstrate
leadership behaviours, attributes and mindset for leaders, across the organization, to lead the OPS into the future and deliver our vision.

As the

Manager, Business Solutions, in the Payment & Registration I&IT Solutions Branch you will:

  • lead through others by motivating, building and developing a team of individuals to deliver results on high profile initiatives.
- establish priorities, identify critical issues, recommend options, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure on a consistent basis.
- consult with and help define client I&IT systems requirements and identify solutions; including working closely with branch, cluster and OPS architecture resources to ensure alignment with technical direction
- manage and oversee the deployment of I&IT systems, including: implementing technology infrastructure and the negotiation and management of all related business, information management and I&IT service level agreements, and changes to organization and business processes and procedures.
- empower your team of professional staff to grow and develop to their full potential, fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and excellence
- demonstrate
